Stars of Sherwood Half Term
February 15 - February 23
Sherwood Forest is full of legend, but the stars in the night sky are part of older stories still. The outlaws of Sherwood would have gazed up at the same constellations as us and told their tales around the fire to ward off the chilly winter weather.
This half term we’ll be celebrating the stars above our heads and those a little closer to home. Join us throughout the school holidays for fun in the forest.
Take part in the Sherwood’s Shining Stars Trail to celebrate the nature stars of the forest and crack the constellation code! Our family friendly trail starts at the Visitor Centre and winds its way through the magnificent winter woodland. £2 per trail, £1.60 for RSPB members. Standard car parking charge applies.
